The service contract provides SimaPro and Ecoinvent updates and software support. It is included in the first year.
How the service contract works:
The service contract is included for the first year. It includes access to software and database updates about twice a year, as well as support on the software (installation, update, use of the software, etc.)
The service contract must be continuous, no gaps are tolerated by the publisher. You cannot pay for every second year, for example. The catching up of unsubscribed years is mandatory.
If you purchase an "extra user" package, i.e. one that allows you to add users, your service contract will be the same as the one attached to the main user's licence. We advise you to subscribe to the "extra user" offer when you renew your licence in order to benefit from a 1-year service contract.
